Made in the U.K, Optimax rotating beacons are well known in Europe for their reliability and performance. These beacons utilise a ‘direct drive’ system that is neither worm nor belt driven. With the use of an upright motor and roller bearings, the beacon operates with almost no noise and wear is reduced to a minimum. Optimax beacons feature dual voltage motors for 12 or 24V operation, polycarbonate lenses, reverse polarity protection, IP56 certification and EMC approvals. The magnetic units have a heavy-duty magnet tested for use at 110km/h and a quality 3.5 metre spiral cord and cigarette lighter plug.
