Narva has added a second soldering iron to its range of electrical accessories - joining the butane gas powered soldering iron (P/No. 56390BL) is a cordless, rechargeable lithium-ion powered soldering iron that can heat itself ready-to-solder in just 10 seconds.
More than just a soldering iron, the kit comes with additional interchangeable tips to suit a variety of jobs, including chisel, cone, and hot knife for cutting (e.g. rope). An integrated L.E.D light illuminates the working area to ensure adequate visibility and accurate soldering. Doubling as a visual check that the iron is hot, the L.E.D only illuminates once the button is pressed and heating commences.
Providing a runtime of 40 minutes, the lithium-ion battery is fully charged in 3.5 hours using the included USB to Micro-USB cable. The 10 second heating time ensures quick, convenient use of the iron, with a maximum temperature of 600°C. For safety, the soldering iron features overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, and electrostatic discharge protection. Also included in the kit is a safety cap and idle stand to ensure user safety during heat up, use and cool down.
